Marketa moved to Perth in 2015 to extend her knowledge and completed Certificates III and IV in Fitness, a Diploma of Remedial Massage, Dry Needling and attended all APPI Pilates courses. As an overseas-trained physiotherapist, she also had to undergo and complete the Australian Physiotherapy Council assessment.
In Australia, Marketa worked mainly in private practice treating sports, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic conditions, as well as running group classes and well-being workshops.
Marketa believes prevention is the best cure and enjoys guiding people toward a healthier lifestyle. Her approach with her clients is holistic, searching for causes and contributing factors rather than just treating the symptoms. She combines hands-on skills, and dry needling with exercise rehabilitation, and ergonomic and postural advice.
Marketa enjoys running, gym, foot biking, and spending time with her partner and friends outside of work.
